Some Interesting Findings So Far

Although I'm still sorting out the fine details of what it all means, there are some initial indications that significant differences (p=<.05) in Total Teacher Leadership Practices Score AND Overall Technology Integration scores do exist for the following groups/criteria (some more surprising than others)...
(In all cases, more = higher scores)
  • # Computers in the Teacher's Classroom
  • Voluntary Professional Development participation
  • Hours on Computer for Teacher Tasks
  • # of Leadership Positions Held
  • College Teaching Experience

PLUS... from the data/participants in this survey, Teaching Experience does NOT seem to matter when it comes to Overall Technology Integration or Teacher Leadership Practices.

Fascinating... eh?!?!?

More to come...

Survey Complete :: Thank You!!!

A big thank you to the 390+ respondents to my online survey!!! Right before or during winter break! Wow!!!

Each participating school district had at least 39 participants, all the way up to 113! So I have plenty of data to comb through in the coming weeks.

In related "good news"... 2 teachers were randomly chosen from the "Early Bird" entries (competed survey by Monday, Dec. 19th/20th for one district) and received a gift certificate for $50 from Amazon.com. The winners were Hans G. from BGCS and an elementary teacher from Perrysburg. The random drawing for the ten $20 certificates will be held this week and 'selectees' will be notified via the email they submitted on the secondary form.

Thanks again to everyone who helped out and participated in the survey. From initial help in editing and piloting the survey, there are well over 400 people I could thank (and do!).

Now back to my data! ;-)
